Hannah Jebb | Founder & Tutor

Hannah is an experienced and qualified primary school teacher, passionate about inspiring the next generation of little writers! With over a decade of teaching experience, Hannah founded Creative Writing with Hannah in 2021. She has been developing imaginative and innovative writing courses which inspire children ever since, nurturing a low pressure, fun environment in which children feel safe to seek help, ask questions and to share their writing with the class. Hannah teaches small group Creative Writing classes for primary aged children as well as working hard behind the scenes to ensure that everything is running smoothly for our lovely families around the world. At home, Hannah loves taking her daughter to the beach, or to walk in the green mountains of Northern Spain where she lives. She has two rescue dogs called Ralph and Ronnie and several chickens.

Charley | Tutor

Charley is a kind and enthusiastic qualified primary school teacher, with a wide range of experience in SEND, Mainstream and Independent schools. She excels in supporting and nurturing the students in her classes, creating an environment that celebrates mistakes as part of the learning process. Charley leads many of our Creative Writing small groups in the daytime and after school, as well as supporting children 1:1 with the Maths element of 11+. In her free time Charley is surrounded by furry friends: her two energetic dogs Cairo and Indie, and her sweet cats, Pepper and Smokey. She can also loves cooking for friends and family, reading and caring for her large collection of house plants.

Rosie | Tutor

Rosie is one of our dedicated KS3 teachers, highly experienced in teaching home educated and international students. She is passionate about helping students to excel in English and achieve their academic goals. Rosie is a current GCSE examiner, has a PGCE with English/Literacy specialism, a psychology degree and a master’s in sociology, bringing a wealth of expertise to her lessons as well as a kind, holistic approach to learning. Outside of class, Rosie loves travel, reading and exploring the stunning coast of Portugal where she currently lives.

Rachel | Tutor

Rachel has been teaching for over 30 years and is our 11+ expert teacher. She was Head of a thriving Middle School, overseeing entrance exams and scholarships among many other roles. Rachel also has extensive International Baccalaureate experience from her 9 years’ teaching in the UAE, before moving to tuition in 2021. Parents and children all LOVE having Rachel as their teacher; her creativity and innovative ideas are endless, but she balances this with a professionalism and dedication that is hard to match! Rachel’s 1:1 slots are usually fully booked, but if you are lucky enough to secure a space with her, expect to be thrilled with the tuition she provides for your family. Rachel is also a tech whizz – an Apple teacher and a Certified Showbie Educator. Skills which are invaluable in the online teaching world. You should also keep a look out for her curious cat Juniper, leaping around in the background during lessons!

Caron | Tutor

Caron is an experienced teacher and GCSE English Language and Literature examiner. She has a Masters in Critical Studies and Education as well as a PGCE. Caron has been teaching English and Drama for over 8 years in private, state and alternative education settings. Her main strength is instilling confidence and self-belief in her students, identifying gaps in knowledge and targeting these specifically to ensure a more robust and resilient student in time for exams! Caron also has 11+ English experience and marked this year’s entrance exams. In her free time Caron sings at weddings and functions – although her free time is very limited after keeping up with 3 teenagers at home!

Cecille | Tutor

Cecille is a highly experienced secondary English teacher and home educator. She has supported a wide range of young people in mainstream and grammar schools, as well as within the home education community, from age 11 up to A level. Her approach focuses on building confidence and ensuring all students feel valued. Cecille aims to make her lessons enjoyable, nurturing, and thought provoking. In her free time, Cecille loves reading, walking in the countryside, drinking tea and eating cake, and going to the theatre when she gets the chance. She lives with her husband and her youngest son, who has been home educated for several years now – he has just completed his GCSEs and is about to start sixth form. Cecille is happy to advise on sitting exams as a private candidate if anyone needs help with this, as well as supporting with all aspects of English.

Lauren | Tutor

Lauren has been a LAMDA teacher for 8 years, alongside directing, acting, drama teaching and facilitation. Lauren also teaches English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and has lots of SEN experience. Lauren can work with your child to prepare for LAMDA exams, drama school auditions, or on public speaking and communication skills. Lauren has been teaching LAMDA and ESL for a decade now. She has worked in the UK and abroad after graduating from RCSSD. She is also an actor and director and works with performers of all ages. She teaches 1:1 and group classes and has a large amount of SEN experience, both in her personal life and in a professional capacity. She loves going to the theatre of course! She also enjoys weight training, dancing and aerial skills as well as reading. She loves seeing live music.
